Who May Be a Good Fit

Our homes are not the right fit for everyone.
The individuals listed below are examples of those who may thrive
in our shared-living environment.

Anyone:
• Seeking a stable, drug-free shared living environment
• Transitioning from incarceration, treatment, or housing instability
• Veterans or seniors seeking independent living with structure
• Managing mild mental health challenges while living independently
• Committed to personal responsibility, accountability, and community living

Hope Village is rooted in dignity, respect, and compassion. While accountability is required, our focus is on creating a safe and supportive environment where residents can rebuild stability and move forward.

Hope Village provides supportive, drug-free shared housing
for adults seeking stability, structure, and community
in a respectful co-living environment.

Our residences serve individuals from a variety of backgrounds, including those transitioning from incarceration, veterans (including disabled veterans), seniors, and adults managing life transitions or mild mental health challenges — provided they are willing and able to maintain a drug- and alcohol-free lifestyle while living in the home.

Residents are expected to:

  • Maintain sobriety during residency

  • Follow house rules and shared-living expectations

  • Participate in random drug and alcohol testing

  • Engage respectfully within a community setting

Because our homes are non-medical, independent living environments, individuals must be medically stable and able to live safely in a shared residence.

If a resident tests positive or experiences a relapse, we respond with care and responsibility. Depending on the circumstances, residents may be referred to detox or a higher level of care and may be asked to transition out of the home to protect the safety and well-being of the community.
